Ice Cream For Everyone

Ice Cream Truck solves the problem of having to choose between a fat bike and a trail bike. It boasts a symmetric 190mm-spaced CroMoly frame, suspension-corrected 150mm-spaced fork, and sporty trail-oriented geometry. Supported by massive 4.8" tires, it’s ready to deftly tackle nearly any terrain.

Modern Trail Meets Modern Fat

The Ice Cream Truck utilizes modern mountain features like front and rear thru-axles, a 44mm head tube, 1x drivetrain, and a stealth dropper post routing. It also features a massive clearance for 26" x 5" tires on 100mm rims, 197/190mm spaced rear end, and a 100mm threaded bottom bracket.

Trail-Ready Geometry

For Surly, "trail-ready geometry" means a long toptube, short seatstays, and a headtube angle somewhere in the neighborhood of sixty-eight to sixty-nine degrees. While the Ice Cream Truck has always had those attributes, Surly tweaked things a bit on this latest iteration to push its trail abilities even further. Subtle changes keep the wheelbase short and the geometry tight and maneuverable on fast, technical terrain.

Trailside Versatility

The Ice Cream Truck's headtube and suspension-corrected fork makes it compatible with front suspension should the terrain call for it. However, if you find yourself out on the trail for a few days, the stock fork is equipped to handle light bikepacking setups. It has a few select braze-ons like three-pack mounts and mid-blade rack mounts.
